South Korea is preparing new community COVID-19 treatment centers for foreign nationals due to the recent increase in overseas inflow.
The Community treatment centers are for mild symptoms and asymptotic patients among a shortage of hospital beds. Korea was able to flatten its coronavirus curve and recorded a notable drop in new cases.
Based on this, nationwide expanded were closed last month. But these trends are changing, and according to The Central Disaster Management Headquarters, they are launching the first center for foreigners in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province due to spaces are running out.
The government has also been making to reestablish similar facilities for locals.
